Client Services Team

Our Client Services Team conducts a whole range of activities to allow our therapists to focus on providing quality outcomes for you. Our Client Services Team will help you with making bookings and cancellations, payments and funding, navigating the NDIS and of course all the paperwork that comes with being a health care provider. Our team is compassionate and cheerful. They will always offer you a cup of tea, coffee or water as you walk through the door and do what they can to make your therapy experience as enjoyable as possible.

Chris is an Owner and Director of Eat Speak Learn. Chris has had extensive government experience working for the Australian Parliament and Community Services Directorate of the ACT Government. A tireless advocate for community engagement, Chris is a regular volunteer for local charitable organisations, schools and sporting clubs as well as a father to two sons. Chris embodies our motto ‘we’re here to help’ as he strives to ensure that Eat Speak Learn is an industry leader in the way speech pathology services are delivered. Enthusiastic about innovation, Chris drives the continual improvement program so that we can best meet client objectives in all aspects of service delivery. Chris is always open to ideas about how we can do better for our clients.

Tarnie is our hard-working Practice Manager. She’s a super organised mother of two and will do everything she can to make sure your experience at Eat Speak Learn is perfect. She’s responsible for making sure all the little things that matter happen from the welcome greeting you get on your first day though to trying to get you the best time for appointments. Tarnie also ensures that our clinic is compliant with all our legislative requires, that our scheduling is correct, that payments are up to date and the myriad of other tasks that are required to make sure your services are delivered smoothly.





• Post Graduate Certificate in Management

Martin works with Eat Speak Learn supporting our NDIS Clients by managing the claims portal. Martin understands the NDIS better than most. Martin has Parkinson’s Disease and jokes that after many operations he is now half cyborg. Martin has learned not to take things too seriously which is lucky, as he follows Manly and The Western Bulldogs. After being out of the workforce for two years, Martin finds coming into work and engaging with the team a great way to have structure back in his life and a real reason to get out of bed each day. Martin loves being a father of three, a grandfather and a Pokémon catcher. Martin’s favourite saying is “don’t spit in the wind”. Martin is a lover of movies. He loves Rocky movies so much he even got himself a pet Boxer.



Rishi is Eat Speak Learns journeyman. Although a man of few words, he loves to tell us that the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. Rishi’s journey began in Bangladesh many years ago. He moved to Australia when he was four where he completed year 12 and an IT certificate before starting with Eat Speak Learn. Rishi does all our odd jobs and we love the way he goes quietly about his business. He is the most respectful young man you will come across.

Herminia is our Administration Team Leader. She has experienced the NDIS from both participant and provider perspectives and assisted countless clients going through similar experiences. Herminia is an amazing advocate for her son who is an NDIS Participant and for all the families that come through our doors. She has cried rivers of tears fearful of whatever her son’s future may hold, never quite sure what funding support he will get year to year. Rest assured that she understands more than anyone what a family may be going through and she is a pertinent reminder for the rest of the team to never give up and always remember empathy and compassion. What Herminia loves most about her role with Eat Speak Learn is completing the discharge paperwork for a child that has achieved all their goals. We will do our best to keep her very busy doing just that.

Simranjeet is our finance guru.  Sim is the one who looks after all of our client accounts and makes sure the business runs successfully behind the scenes.  Sim came to Australia by herself from India as a student in 2014.  Since then, she has gotten married and made Australia her home.  As a new migrant, Sim’s journey has not always been easy but her qualities of perseverance, adaptability and pride in her work have seen her accomplish so many milestones and find a home with Eat Speak Learn.  Sim loves to cook and specialises in Indian dishes from her home state of Utter Pradesh.  Sim’s perfect day is making sure each and every one of our clients are satisfied with the services she provides.

Alex is a part of the Administration team at eat speak learn, completing simple to complex IT tasks. Alex created our website and manages all our on-line interactions. Alex has a passion for IT in general and is currently studying at the AIE to get his  Advanced Diploma of Professional Game Development which he hopes to achieve by the end of 2020. Outside of IT Alex is a fine hockey player, playing as a goal keeper for old Canberrans Hockey club, he has represented ACT in both outdoor and indoor hockey. One Day Alex hopes to have his own Business doing something related to IT, such as running his own indie games company.
